This Privacy Policy ("Policy") outlines GSJ SHOWNSELL ONLINE PRIVATE LIMITED’S (MY LOCAL ADDA’S) practice in relation to the storage, use, processing, and disclosure of personal data that You have chosen to share with Us when You access Our Platform or personal data that We may have access to or in relation to Your use of the services.

Further, This Privacy Policy ("Policy") apply to the Shoppers, Buyers, Customers, Delivery Partners, Sellers, Wholesalers, Dealers, Manufacturers, Suppliers, Merchants, Service Providers, Business Partners, Franchises, Clients and all the Users of the Platform. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the Shoppers, Buyers, Customers, Delivery Partners, Sellers, Wholesalers, Dealers, Manufacturers Suppliers, Merchants, Service Providers, Business Partners, Franchises, Clients and all the Users of the Platform shall together hereinafter be referred to as “You”, “Your” or “Yourself” and My Local Adda hereinafter be referred to as “We”, “Us”, “Our”.

Further, the word “User” or “Users” here indicate all those who will be using Our services on “My Local Adda” Platform no matter who they are or in which capacity they are availing or using the services. The word “Platform” shall mean the domain name www.mylocaladda.com (website) including the related mobile site and mobile application of “My Local Adda.”

Further, it is to be noted that words referring to masculine include the feminine and the singular include the plural and vice versa as the context admits or requires; and Words importing persons includes individuals, bodies corporate and unincorporated.

By using My Local Adda services, You expressly consent to the use of the services displayed on the Platform and disclosure of Your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the different Terms and Conditions of the Platform.

1. Collection of Information from User -

The information We collect from You helps Us personalise and provide You a safe, efficient, smooth and customized experience at My Local Adda. This enables us to render full range of services displayed or available on Platform to You as per Your needs, convenience and satisfaction and also to improve Our Platform, prevent or detect fraud or abuses of Our Platform and enable third parties to carry out technical, logistical or other functions on Our behalf. Following are the information that We gather from You:

1.1 Information You give Us: In an effort to provide You different ranges of Services through Our Platform, We may collect the following types of information from You (as applicable) including but not limited to: Your name, middle name (if any), surname, gender, email address, mobile and/or telephone numbers, temporary and permanent address, city, pin code, date of birth, age, marital status, details about services/products/property that You need to buy or sell or rent (rent in case of immovable property), profile picture, contact details, Your voice recording, addresses of people You refer to Us, bank details, credit card/debit card/other payment instrument details, information regarding Your identity, business, corporate and financial information, work history, educational details, documented information such as Passport/PAN card/Aadhar card/Driver's Licence/Ration Card/Voter card, and any other information that can be used to identify You and We require in pursuance to meet Your needs, and to customize Our Platform to make Your experience safer and easier.  We may also ask You to provide any other personal information which You give us in connection while booking/availing any service through Our Platform or is relevant to customer surveys and/or offers available on the Platform. All such information shall be collectively referred to as “Personal Information”.

In general, You can easily browse Our Platform by entering Your personal information as asked by Us. Once You give Us Your personal information, You are not anonymous to Us. Where possible, We indicate which fields are required and which fields are optional. You always have the option to not provide information by choosing not to use a particular service or feature on the Platform (if it is not mandatory to fill). 

1.2 Non-Personal Information: When You visit Our Platform, We may collect certain non-personal information as well such as Your internet protocol address, operating system, browser type, internet service provider, aggregate user data, browser type, software and hardware attributes, pages You request, number of click, search history and result selected, active seconds or minutes on the Platform, frequency of Your visit to the Platform, the date and time of Your visit to Platform or use of the Services and cookie information, etc. This type of information does not identify You personally.

Further, My Local Adda shall communicate with You from time to time through SMS, Emails or any other digital channels and shall save Your data which is available with Us.

By using or continuing to use the Platform, You agree to Our use of Your information (including sensitive personal information) in accordance with this Privacy Policy, as may be amended from time to time by My Local Adda with its discretion. You agree and consent for My Local Adda to disclose Your information, if so required, under applicable laws.

2. Cookies-

Cookie is a small piece of data sent from Platform and stored on the User's computer/device by the User's web browser while the User is browsing. 4. Sharing of Personal Information of Users-

Your trust is the foundation of Our business, which motivates Us to serve You for a longer period of time. Your personal information is very important to Us thus sharing personal information of Our Users inappropriately is against Our values and work ethic.

4.2 Transactions involving Third Parties: We make available to You new and pre-owned/used/second-hand products which You can buy or sell/re-sell, pick-up and drop-off services (through Us or third party Service Providers), different other services, immovable property for rental/tenancy basis and purchase/sale basis, information about different service providers (online local business directory), or skills provided by third parties for use on or through My Local Adda. For example, You can buy and sell products/goods from third parties through Our Platform, avail services of third party through Our Platform, deliver and collect goods from third party through Our Platform, buy and sell immovable properties through Our Platform and find suitable lender/tenant as well through Our Platform. We also offer services or sell product lines jointly with third-party businesses. You can tell when a third party is involved in Your transactions, and We share customers’ personal information related to those transactions with that third party.

4.3 Business Transfers: As We continue to develop Our business, We might sell or buy or diversify whole or any part thereof of businesses or services. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Policy. Also, in the unlikely event that My Local Adda or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.

4.4 Third party payment service providers: We may also share Your information with third party payment service providers like payment gateways, payment aggregator and other payment service providers for the purpose of fulfilling distinguished services to You through Our Platform.

(iii) protect My Local Adda from incurring any legal liability. In such an event My Local Adda shall be under no obligation to specifically inform You or seek Your approval or consent.

4.7 Any content or personal information that You share or upload on any current or future publicly viewable portion of the Platform (on discussion boards, in messages and chat areas, etc.) will be publicly available, and can be viewed by others.

It is to be noted that, We shall be having right to add, delete and change the Privacy Policy according to the circumstances. You are required to read Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Platform will constitute Your agreement and acceptance to the updated Privacy Policy. In case, We deem that Your approval is required regarding some specific sharing of Your information with third party, We shall send You notice for the same and You will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

4.8 We do not disclose all the personal information about identifiable individuals to advertisers or any third party, but We may provide them with aggregate and/or anonymised or relevant information about You and other registered Users, to help advertisers or such third party reach the kind of audience they want to target. 5. Safety and Security of User’s information-

We have designed stringent security and safety measures to ensure better protection of Your information which is stored and saved on Our servers. Once Your information is in Our possession, it is secured with passwords and pins and no unauthorized person has any access to it.

We endeavor to abide by the security guidelines and take reasonable steps in compliance with the applicable laws, to help Your rights of privacy and Your information (personal or otherwise) maintained with Us, is not accessed in an unauthorized manner, is not misused, altered or destructed, however We do not guarantee that such security system can prevent all the potential security breaches.

We do not itself store Your payment card account information or payment credentials, and We do not have direct control over or responsibility for Your payment card account information or payment credentials. Hence, We cannot guarantee that transmissions of Your payment card account information or personal information or any payment credentials will always be secure or that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat the security measures taken by Us or Our third-party service providers.

It is important and advisable to You to keep Your personal information secure. You shall not share Your username, password, or other security information of Your account with anyone. In such case, We would not be liable of any misuse, unauthorise access, alteration or any twist of Your information or in case if any damages occur to You due to this, We assume no liability for such damages or such security breaches.

Please note, despite the measures We have implemented to protect Your data, the transfer of data through the Internet or other open networks is never completely secure and there is a risk that Your personal data may be accessed by unauthorised third parties.

Our Platform may contain different links to other Websites that may collect personally identifiable information about You. Thus, We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those linked Websites.

7. Third Parties-

We may, as discussed above, provide information to third parties. While the third parties are bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations, We cannot guarantee that they will not misuse the information and We will not be liable for any such misuse by them.

8. Advertisements on the Platform-

We may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when You use Our Platform. These companies may use Your information when You interact with their content, like Your visits to this and other Apps or Websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of Your interest. We never share Your direct details like name, address, contact number or other information that identifies You when We do this.

Information pertaining to You collected by such third party advertising companies will be governed by their policies which are not under Our control.

9. Accessibility of User’s information by User-

You can access Your own information including Your name, address, payment options, profile information, household settings, and purchase history in "My Profile" section of the Shopper App, “My Account” section in case of Seller App of the Platform. Apart from it, following are the information which You as Shopper can access-

• status of recent orders (including any subscriptions);
• Your complete order history;
• personally identifiable information (including name, e-mail, password, and home address, work address, referral code, contact details etc);
• payment settings (including payment card information, promotional certificate and gift card balances, and related settings etc.);
• e-mail notification settings (including but not limited to Product Availability Alerts, Delivers, Special Occasion Reminders and newsletters etc);
• recommendations and the products You recently viewed that are the basis for recommendations (including Recommended for You and Improve Your Recommendations);
• shopping lists and gift registries (including Wish Lists, Cart etc);
• Your content, devices, services, and related settings, and communications and personalized advertising preferences;
• content that You recently viewed;
• voice recordings associated with Your account;
• Your Profile (including Your product Reviews, Recommendations, Reminders and personal profile etc.);

If You are a Seller, You can access Your account and other information, and adjust Your communications preferences, by updating Your account in Our Seller Platform. As a Seller following are the information which You can access on the Platform-

• Your Business Profile and Business details;
• Your Pick up address;
• Contact Details;
• Bank Account details;
• Documents that You uploaded;
• Your reward points, coins earned, coupons, offers, Ranking etc.

• Your complete Dashboard;
• Details about Orders Received, Dispatched etc.;
• You can manage Your customer, inventory, product catalogue etc.

10. Choices-

You have many choices regarding-

10.1Updation/Changes: You have all the liberty regarding modification, addition and updation of Your own information on Your account subject to some limitations. Further, You have choice to not provide certain information to Us as well, but then You might not be able to take advantage of many services available on the Platform.

10.2 Queries: If You have any questions or queries as to how We collect and use Your personal information etc., You have choice to contact Our (Customer Care at +917230003072) which is placed on our Platform.

11. Data Retention Policy-

We will retain Your data or information for as long as You use Our Platform and for a reasonable time thereafter. Retention of Your information is up to Our discretion. If You’d like Us to delete User Provided Data that You have provided via the App, please contact Us and We will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the App to function properly.

12. Our Powers in case any User of the Platform is misusing the services with mala fide intentions-

It is to be noted that We can block You from using Our services if We find You troubling Us, Our workers, other stakeholders or if We find You using Our services inappropriately detrimental to Our policies/ terms. Further, if Your conduct or intention of using Our services deems to be mala fide, doubtful, disruptive and troublesome then We have all the discretionary powers to block You from using Our Platform for the smooth and efficient functioning of Our services and We are under no obligation to state You the reasons and facts for the same thereof.

13. Free Consent -

In order to use services available on the Platform, all the information which is disclosed or shared by You on Our Platform shall be deemed to be disclosed by You willingly and without any coercion. Thus, We assume Your free consent of using and sharing Your information from Our end in order to render You different services in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We assume no liability pertaining to the authenticity/genuineness/misrepresentation/fraud/negligence, etc. of the information disclosed by You to Us.

14. Complaints-

In case of any dissatisfaction in relation to the Platform, You shall first file a formal complaint with Our customer service, prior to pursuing any other recourse. The complaints can be lodged at Our Customer Care the details of which are placed on Our Platform, and upon lodging a complaint You agree to provide complete support to the customer service team with such reasonable information as may be sought by them from You. Our decision on the complaints shall be final and You agree to be bound by the same.
